An early Georgia Melodians recording from their second session with Edison. This one was also released as an Amberol cylinder!
After a bit of drama in the intro section, this tune starts out with an immediately likable melody and jaunty, charming playing.
At 1:03 a muted trumpet cranks up the rizz and is followed by an animated piano solo, trombone solo, and a sax solo before being handed back to the rizzler on trumpet. Not to be outdone, we get a finale section involving some slap-tongue sax soloing.
