I love all the Benny Goodman small combo sessions in the late 30s – early 40s – the trios, the quartets, the sextets… Goodman always chose stellar collaborators.
I read somewhere that the jazz standard “Moon Glow” has been recorded hundreds of times since it was written in 1933. This is one of my favorite versions.
