“Moon Glow” – Benny Goodman Quartet (1936)

I love all the Benny Goodman small combo sessions in the late 30s – early 40s – the trios, the quartets, the sextets… Goodman always chose stellar collaborators.

I read somewhere that the jazz standard “Moon Glow” has been recorded hundreds of times since it was written in 1933. This is one of my favorite versions.

Enjoy!

Recorded in Hollywood, California on August 21, 1936.
Released as Victor 25398.
